In the silence, my Dear Father,

I listen…

To words, to dreams, to fears

I listen…

To nature and to life, to creation

In the silence I hear…

 

I hear you speak in whispers

In wind and where the wind won’t blow

I hear you speak in silence

I listen….

And I go.

 

I go in silence to listen, and I hear, and then I go.

 

My Lord, my life, I listen

So in my heart

That you are always with me

In the silence

when I go.
